Install

Custom heat pump designs and ductless mini-splits for bonus rooms, basement suites, additions, garages and whole homes. Many Calgary homes pair a cold-climate heat pump with a furnace for backup on the coldest days.

Maintain

Defrost cycle testing, airflow verification, filter and coil cleaning, and refrigerant checks.

Built for here

Alberta asks more of your equipment.

A heat pump has to handle real cold here. We'll help you choose a cold-climate model and decide whether a furnace backup makes sense for your home and budget.

Questions we hear a lot

Do heat pumps work in a Calgary winter?

Modern cold-climate heat pumps keep heating well below freezing. On the coldest nights, many homes here use a furnace as backup. We'll design the right combination for your house.

What is a ductless mini-split?

It's a heat pump with a small outdoor unit and one or more wall-mounted indoor heads. It needs no ductwork, which makes it ideal for rooms the furnace doesn't reach well.

Can one system handle several rooms?

Yes. A multi-zone system runs several indoor heads from one outdoor unit, and each room gets its own temperature control.

Are there rebates for heat pumps?

Programs change often. We'll tell you about any current rebate or financing options that apply when we quote.
